Here are pictures from my life. If your picture is here and you don't want it to be, let me know. If your picture is here and you want a larger copy, let me know.

Want to see what Phyllis and I were up to in 2003? We were a couple of very busy people. Check it out here

I've written a program that will create thumbnail and 800x800 images automatically which means a lot less work for me to add images to my website. Expect a lot more updates to this page in the future!

Hurray! "Schools out for ever!", Not to say I don't plan on continuing on, but I'm certainly thankful for the break. Grad school? You never know.

Here's some photos from graduation day. I'd post more, but the quality is pretty bad on the rest of them.

B&W of Andrew and Phyllis This shot was pretty blurry, thus the black and white. That's my girlfriend Phyllis, she and her friend Sherry were my lone supporters :( ... Actually, I didn't want my family to come down, college graduations are about the most boring and impersonal events I've ever experienced.
Andrew in gown and tie-dye Go Grateful Dead! Look at my shins, I was so sunburned. It was really hot, I was really thankful for the robe, I hid under it as much as possible.

In May I had the opportunity to go to Oahu, Hawaii for work. I was on the research vessel Roger Revelle for nine days, where I had a couple of different duties. Every day everyone in the scientific party had a time when they had to watch the scientific recording equipment to make sure everything was going smoothly. In addition to this, I spent a lot of time studying the current process of data collection and metadata recording to help better orient the product I am designing towards the target user, the scientist onboard ship.

Luckily, I had three days on Oahu to see the sites, and that was a lot of fun. Hawaii is so beautiful!

Here's a shot of a cool little lizard I saw in the Queen's Garden. From the same garden, this is just one of the many beautiful flowers growing in Hawaii. It was amazing to see these beautiful flowers on trees along the road.
Here I am, getting soaked by a wave crashing up against a rock at Hanuama Bay. This is a really cool panorama of Honolulu I took as we were leaving port. My last view of land for nine days!
My first view of "home" for the next nine days. The Roger Revelle. It was when I saw this that I first thought, "what have I gotten myself into", luckily there was no need for any pyrotechnics during our trip.
There wasn't a bad sunset for the next nine days. Every night was beautiful. If you look in the lower right corner of this photo, you'll see the boat.
