Hi everyone! What a year 2003 was. Below are some pictures from our adventures throughout the year. If your picture is here and you don't want it to be, let us know. If your picture is here and you want a larger copy, let us know.

(from andrew):We were thinking about how much stuff has happened this year and I wanted to put this page together to recap some of it. I'm going to put some more pictures of a couple other items sometime in the future (maybe). I had some really great times this year in both San Diego and Europe, and now in Santa Cruz, and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being such great friends.

Best wishes in the upcoming year, hope to see you soon!

Andrew and Phyllis

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays (merry christmas, happy hanukah, happy kwanzaa, happy new years!)
Below are some pictures from our adventures in 2003, click on the thumbnails to get a bigger version of the same image.
Here we are in Port Grimaud, France, with Jocelyn and Yves Lhermitte. Phyllis calling home with style from the castle in Edinburgh, Scotland
Help! Phyllis locked me away in this Scottish castle, luckily, I escaped. Eiffel tower, on its side, one more time, in case you haven't seen it lately ;)
From left to right: Jess, Rusty, Torey, Andrew, Brian, Victor. Hanging out in the Anza Borego desert catching some rays Daniela and Phyllis in Padua, Italy
Europe was such a cool opportunity, here we are on a Gondola in Venice, Italy. Here's a cool shot of a Jelly at the Monterey Bay Aquarium where Andrew does not work. It's a little confusing, but I work at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, a sort of sister company of the aquarium. MBARI primarily does science and engineering related research in the ocean sciences field.
Same Jelly, performing for the camera. Dru Clark and Andrew in Costa Rica. Andrew got the chance to go to Costa Rica aboard the Scripps vessel, the Roger Revelle, it was awesome.
John and Nadine Golden with us at the MBARI holiday party I (andrew) had a chance to see a "wet forest" in Costa Rica and while exploring, came across this cool poison dart frog.
Have you heard that there is a new member of the Pimentel family? Now the list reads Mike, Whitney and Olivia. See more pictures of Olivia here
