Welcome to my web page. I currently am a program analyst working at the San Diego Supercomputer Center at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). My speciality is bioinformatics, a nebulous term which roughly means I use computers to analyze and store molecular biological information. My particular niche in this field is sequence analysis and biological databases.

The main focus of my work is the Signaling Gateway, a joint project with Nature Journal. In particular, I am responsible for the sequence analysis and public database annotation of the Molecule Pages. I am also helping maintain the Biology Workbench, a web-based tool for biologists.
