Nicholas J. Wright received his Bachelors and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Durham, England in 1996 and 1999 respectively. After postdoctoral work at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign he moved to the San Diego Supercomputer Center in 2005. His research interests are in high performance computing, specifically performance modeling and performance optimization.
He is part of the Integrated Perforamce Monitoring Project which is a collaboration with David Skinner at NERSC and is funded by NSF under grant 0721397.
